The garden in summer
The cactus on Christmas Day. Only lasted for a day but what a beauty.
The sunflowers are opening and I hope the cockatoos will leave them alone.
Pomegranate flowers and hopefully some fruits this season.
Roses to cheer the garden.

At the moment the garden is full of colourful flowers and of seeds such as those of parsley, the different chards and poppies, and green tomatoes and almost ripe red cherries, which have to be covered in netting to keep the birds away.

Spring colours
Most of the bulbs, such as the ixias and bluebells are over, leaving behind untidy leaves that must remain unsightly until they have done their job of feeding and nourishing the bulbs for next year. The ornithogalums with their black centre are still at their best and are scattered throughout the garden with spikes of gladiolus calianthus.

Spring bulbs and azaleas
The garden is looking pretty with the spring bulbs blooming in masses. Amongst the spring bulbs are the bluebells which I have not photographed. The azaleas are flowering, bush by bush.

Blossoms
The pink and white blossoms of the peaches and apricot are telling me that spring must be here.
Blossoms from the flat peach tree.
The big peach tree in full blossoms.
The Manchurian pear tree covered in pristine white blossoms.
Not many blossoms on the apricot tree but we may get a fruit or two.

Winter flowers
Different shades of red cyclamen in the garden.
Pink cyclamen with variegated leaves. The cyclamens are doing very well in the garden, protected from the harsh winter weather by the overgrowth of camellia and the jacarandah tree.
